Life...who can figure it out!?!

Do you ever wonder what life is? How you are supposed to live it? Are you doing it the right way? Thankfully, I have a God who knows the answers to these questions. I wish He would write the answers on the wall for me, but I have to keep remembering that He is in control!

Today, out of the blue, Judi's refrigerator dies. Money out the window! But you have to have one! Yesterday, David gets his bonus structure, and it is great to him, not so great to me. The good news is he will be able to work from home most days, so that will save money! Work is going well for me. I just wish I didn't feel this burden of homeschooling! I know that that is what is best for Sammy, I just feel like I can't adequately do it in half a day! Again, one of those things that God knows the answer, I just don't!

I hope everyone plans on worshipping OUR SAVIOR tomorrow for Palm Sunday! Please remember that Christ died for YOU! But the best thing JESUS IS ALIVE!

New Beginnings

Well,

After mostly being a stay at home mom for 7 years I am back at work. I will be an assistant to the Media Director at Focus on the Family part time. It works out great because I am still able to homeschool Sammy and be a mom in the morning. Thankfully, Grammy (David's mom) has graciously offered to watch the boys in the afternoon so that I can work.

I will be honest with you. At first I DID NOT want to work, but God has amazingly shown me that this is where he wants me for this time. I do miss the kids, but I also feel like I am needed at Focus. I don't know what for, and I am a little nervous about being able to do an outstanding job, but I know God has it all under control. And for that I am so thankful.

David, as most of you know, is at Promise Keepers now and it is absolutely great to be doing work for God and seeing the blessings from it. We both are on new adventures, but so far it is amazing.

May God bless you in what you do, and always look to Him for guidance!

Love,
Christy

Nothing New

Hey! Not much is new in the Jesse Crew! Ha...that rhymed. Anyways, I hope everyone is having a great 2009 so far. I am praying that we will have a banner year this year (we're due). David is loving his new job as Assistant to the President at Promise Keepers, and I am enjoying home schooling a little better. Sammy is doing better at focusing which makes it easier for me.

I am so excited that David and I get a mini-vacation next weekend. We are due for that too. Mom and Dad are sending us away for Fri-Sun and keeping the boys for us. I think it will be a great time. The boys keep asking when we are leaving...gotta love 'em! I know they love us, but they get completely spoiled when they are with grandparents..either side.

I do have a couple of pieces of good news...Nathan went up the playground and down the slide at McDonald's today! Another good piece of news, he would kill me if he knew I was posting this, Nathan is now completely potty trained. He has been potty trained for a year and a half, but he now does it all, wiping, and everything. I am offically done wiping kid's butts! YEAH!!!!!!

Just wanted to mention a prayer request. Please pray for a decision that will be made soon concerning David's job. It will impact us greatly one way or the other. Thank you in advance for your prayers! Keep in touch! I will post again soon!

Love,
Christy

Thanksgiving 2008

Nathan's Thanksgiving program at Mom's Day Out 2008.
Sammy and Nathan Thanksgiving Day 2008.

Insurance...blah!

Well, I have spent most of my day setting up insurance. With David's new job, it isn't the best insurance and is super expensive. So, hopefully we will be accepted with David's diabetes you never know.
Sammy is doing really well in school. I am so proud of him.
Nathan is just a mess.. he is a hoot! He makes me laugh all the time. I just love that kid. Sammy too, but it is different. Not more or less..just different!
I am going to try to post some pics, but I haven't done it in such a long time, I don't know if I remember how to.

Hope you have a blessed day!

Happy New Year 2009

Well, it has been awhile. I am sorry. Life has been a little crazy this last year. I am going to try to post often, but I am not promising everyday.

The boys are getting big and so much fun. Some days I just want to play all day and do no school. I will try to post some newer pictures soon, but for now I just want to start posting.

Hope you guys have a great night and I will post again soon.
